MAW Vridhi Commercial Vehicles Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of Foton commercial vehicles in Nepal, is developing a large service center for electric commercial vehicles in Kathmandu’s Pepsicola area.
Currently under construction, the new facility is being developed with modern infrastructure, advanced service equipment and increased service capacity. It is expected to strengthen Foton’s after-sales support while providing customers with more convenient and efficient servicing.
The service center will offer a range of services under one roof, including regular maintenance, mechanical and electrical repairs, diagnostic inspections, technical assessments and parts replacement.
Foton says particular emphasis is being placed on reducing service turnaround times and vehicle downtime, which is especially important for customers operating commercial vehicles for business purposes.
The facility will be staffed by skilled technicians and engineers trained by Foton International. The team will handle vehicle inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs in line with Foton’s international service standards.
The new center will also strengthen the availability of Foton Genuine Spare Parts through an organized inventory and parts management system. According to the company, this is expected to reduce delays caused by parts shortages and minimize the time vehicles spend in the workshop.
Foton currently has 21 service centers and service touchpoints across Nepal. As part of its nationwide expansion plan, the company aims to establish Foton service touchpoints at intervals of no more than 100 kilometers along key routes from eastern to western Nepal by the end of 2026.
The upcoming Pepsicola facility is expected to further strengthen Foton’s after-sales network in the Kathmandu Valley while supporting its broader strategy of providing professional service and technical support to commercial vehicle customers across Nepal.
